My 10th great grandpa is John Alden Jr who was seen as a witch for visiting with the shamans of the native tribes, as his father John Alden docked the Mayflower on Plymouth Rock. John Alden Jr was burned at the witch trials but managed to escape his death sentence for judgement for giving guns to the natives and helping them live..which is surprising bcus it was the Brits against the Pilgrims and the Brits brought the dark ages with them and always had some insufficient evidence to justify that.
